I just can't throw them away now...
My gosh I've been busy lately. But, a quick entry on Monday to let you all know that I'm still here and to get something off my chest.
Never fear - I have a list of things I'd like to talk about, and as time permits I'll get them put together here.
On to the meat of this post...
I have a problem. Well, I have a lot of problems, but this is one that I think you will all appreciate - at least a little bit.
After all of the fun and interest we had in the last Test Strip Contest, I have not been able to throw any test strips away.
I know! Crazy right? I mean, even before the contest I was not throwing enough of them away - but now I almost think of them like necessary accessories to the next contest!!! Sigh...

Oh, and the feet you see hanging there - they belong to a Kevin Garnett McFarlane action figure that I've got hanging from my desk. Yeah, he's awesome.

Scott,
I love your obsession with test strips! I am STILL waiting to find one abandoned in some public place by some diabetic kinsman. That would renew my faith that I am not alone with this thing!
:-)
Keep your eyes peeled Amy - I promise, it won't be much longer.
I have promised my wife to be good about getting test strips and those pieces of Splenda packets completely in the trash.
It's funny how both seem to float away and end up in bizarre places. :)
I was playing golf three weeks ago, and there was a test strip on the ground next to a garbage can on the course. Couldn't help but laugh.
I was sweeping up the patio and found a few strips! The first picture in my head was the post about the Strip in the Snow! I cannot get that pic out of my head. Too funny.

I saw a wayward test stip in a men's room in Charlotte, NC not too long ago. I immediately thought of your post and had a good chuckle out of it. Another kindred spirit has gone before me!
Funnily enough I there was a One Touch Strip on the floor by the ATM I was using today. This is the first time in a long time I have seen someone else's abandoned test strip (other than your pictures!) And it's true: It does make you feel that little bit less alone.
My daughter leaves them everywhere! It drives me bonkers! I will probably be finding test strips for years after she moves out. Thanks for the giggles.
